If we compare & contrast, there is difference in what we find best
Let’s examine scar after scar, wound after wound
Your light, we’ll call your sun
Your dark we’ll call your moon
There is power in your opposite
Familiarity in the same
Freedom in the unknown
Identity in the name
Truth in your opinion
Lies in your views
Perspective paints the picture
Perception picks the muse
You hear what you would like
You listen when you would need
Sweet is the fruit to the taste
Cause you are who planted the seed
I have given mind
You have given heart
Just as a cycle ends
Again shall a cycle start
